According to Ian R. Rapoport of The Boston Herald via twitter, the Patriots have agreed to terms with linebacker Marques Murrell. Murrell was a backup pass rusher for the Jets for three years, but they didn't feel he was valuable enough to retain. He'll get a shot with the Pats, but doesn't project as more than a backup.
