Dolphins Wants To Avoid "Diva Receivers"

  1. Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland said during the NFL combine the team needs a playmaker who can produce “chunk yards", and the first step to addressing a problem is admitting you have one, and the Dolphins have done that. But Omar Kelly of The South Florida-Sun Sentinel guarantees that player who gets added won’t be a “diva receiva.” "Diva problems can suck the energy out of your football team,” said Dolphins offensive coordinator Dan Henning, who had issues with Steve Smith during his tenure as the Panthers coordinator. “You just can’t have discord because it’s a team operation. When that’s being talked about all the time and every body’s afraid to get into that guy’s aura, so to speak, and you have to tiptoe around the locker room, it takes away from your team.”

If the Dolphins had a chance to get Smith from the Panters, and it was ruined by Henning, then I would consider doing illegal activities. But I agree that a diva is bad.
