Cardinals The Favorites To Acquire Chargers QB Charlie Whitehurst?

    Michael Lombardi of The National Football Post reports via twitter that hes hearing the Arizona Cardinals is in the lead for Chargers restricted free agent quarterback Charlie Whitehurst right now. Lombardi says however that might change through the evening. The Cardinals, as well as the Seattle Seahawks, have extended contract offers to Whitehurst.

    that should be a hell of a QB battle

    Leinart/Whitehurst/St. Pierre (is he still there?)

    How so? In his 3 year NFL career Whitehurst has the exact same number of pass attempts and pass completions as me.......ZERO. And St. Pierre is still on the roster.
