The Patriots will be traveling to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Gary Myers of the New York Daily News reported earlier today that the Jets will host a game on Thanksgiving night takes New York out of the running for the game in Detroit. The Lions get an AFC opponent in the rotation this year, and their two home inter-conference opponents are the Jets and Patriots so it has to be New England. Source: Boston Globe
I wish the lions were at least like they were a few years back...... they didnt win a bunch of games but when it came to playing on thanksgiving they played like they were going to the playoffs lol..... Its really the only meaning full game they have anymore...... they dont get into the playoffs so the last few games dont matter...... Us lions fans only have Thanksgiving to look forward to.
true.... and man was it fun to watch that guy dance around defenders.. freaking hate marty morningway for forcing him to retire early.......
hey so far the lions are drafting smart...... they have another good WR and drafting their D line and have a good QB on the bench...... I wouldnt count the lions out yet, I think they will have a pretty good season.... maybe not playoff material yet but a better season.
Oh heck I just realized on thanksgiving my wife and I are going to be at odds...... she will be rooting for the pats and I for the lions...... Oh that will be a fun day
I'm pumped the Pats are playing on thanksgiving!!! Drinking a bunch of beers, eating a bunch of food, watching the Pats, drinking a bunch more beers while watching 2 more games, then eating drunken leftovers!! Thanksgiving doesn't get any better than that for this guy!!!
