Eagles QB Donovan McNabb Wants To Play For The Cardinals?

Discussion in 'Philadelphia Eagles' started by BigBlueBruiser, Mar 27, 2010.

  1. Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett writes via twitter that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb told him that he would love to play for the Arizona Cardinals. "I just talk to Donovan McNabb, and he would love to come to AZ, shhh I bet the NFC would be made at us for whippn ass! Mc NABB to #Birdgang," Dockett said. The Eagles are listening to all offers for McNabb but they reportedly want a Top-42 draft pick in return for McNabb. General Manager Rod Graves however confirmed on Thursday that the Cardinals have no interest in acquiring McNabb.

McNabb doesn't make decisions even close to half as fast as Warner. The offense would be better than it is today, but would still see a huge dropoff on production.

Of course he does, but it probably won't happen since the Cards just signed Anderson to deal worth several million a year. While that might not be a lot to some teams, we're talking about the same organization who tried to penny-pinch the very guy who lead them to the god**mn Superbowl just a year ago and almost let him walk. They just don't strike me as an organization who will be willing to pony up a multi-year extension worth $15 and $20 million a season.

Sorry McNabb, but you'll be strumming that air guitar in Oakland soon enough. :punkrocker:

The Cards would find the money if McNabb played in Pittsburgh. The top 50 draft pick that Philly wants is the real stumbling block.

Mcnabb to Fitz/Breaston/Doucet would be kind of scary.

No thanks. You just don't trade a franchise QB if he's that good, why is he on the block? Good QBs are just too damn hard to come by in the NFL....hmmmm. I'll take Brees though, I would have taken him over Warner, lol.
