Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin told Pro Football Weekly what he feels QB Kevin Kolb's most impressive trait is: "I think it's his control. That's something people don't see (in) a lot of quarterbacks, but he's in control. He knows who the ball is going to before it's snapped, and right after the snap he can see what the defense is doing. That's something he does very, very well. I think it also has helped him, playing behind one of the better quarterbacks (Donovan McNabb) to ever play the game." Source: Pro Football Weekly
He knows who is going to the throw the ball to him more in his future, and managed to give props to #5 at the same time. Nicely played, Jeremy.
This is exactly what went through my mind... especially as I remembered that pass he pussed out on vs. the Cowboys last year. Sorry Mac, but your going to have to put in a lot of work to live that crap down.
The ball is in the video. You like Maclin were too busy watching the hit develop to bother to see it.
yeah and gee where was it at doc ? that's right at his feet as usual which is the point. **********Automerged Doublepost********** see above. the pass wasn't even catchale which is the point. but hey he should've manned up and took the hit anyway.
Uncatchable?! Seriously?! The ball may have literally hit him in the freaking hands if Jenkins doesn't knock it away.
Sorry smeags.... your wrong... It may have been a TAD behind him but it definitely wasn't at his feet and if he had ever seen it he would have had a chance at catching it though he was clearly well defended at the time. If you wanna ask why was it ever thrown into such tight coverage then I won't argue with you but the pass is right to his R shoulder. He clearly never sees it because he's watching the hit that's coming.
