I have re-installed the NSFW code on the site. Here's a rundown on how it works: When posting any NSFW material members are to use the NSFW code. You can see the code option when using the full editor or quick reply and clicking on this icon: Using this option will give you these results: PHP: [NSFW][IMG]http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/8251/testinge.jpg[/IMG][/NSFW] Will give you: [NSFW][/NSFW] This will be required to use when posting NSFW material. Failure to use this when posting NSFW material can result in a warning and/or a yellow card. After 5 cards a member is banned.
Do you define what is considered NSFW on the site? Probably want to clarify it. Just my opinion though.
Boltz if you don't want your co-workers or boss to see what is in the thread then don't open a NSFW pic. Might be a woman in a thong or a video of something that might get you in trouble at work. It's just a heads up for members that log in at work. Under no circumstances will nudity be tolerated.
I know that but some things may be NSFW for some but not others, if yellow cards are going to be handed out I don't think it's too much to let people know what kind of stuff they should put under NSFW. This way people don't have the excuse of saying they didn't think it was that bad or whatever, why even leave it up to question? Just my opinion though.
Boltz, no need to over think these things, sheesh. No nudity is not allowed, anything showing genitalia including bare breasts, no aholes, no out right nipples, no C at all, if you can look at it at work without your boss or any women there getting offended then fine, if you'd get in trouble or embarrassed if someone saw you looking at it or if you think a child shouldn't be looking at it then use the NSFW tag and just add the URL instead of the IMG. FYI, we don't yellow card anyone for their first offense unless it's child pourn or posting someone's personal info.
Obviously nudity isn't allowed, it's in the rules. If you're telling people to use their own discretion then why would you hand out yellow cards? You either have strict guidelines of what NSFW is and what not and penalize those that don't use the NSFW tags (yellow cards) or you don't. You can't really have it both ways. It's not like people will be able to post stuff that's against forum rules (nudity) by using the NSFW tags. You guys haven't had a problem with clarifying what the rules were before then why stop now, I mean you didn't stop at no nudity you went very specific to not leave any doubt of what you meant.
I already told you what we allow, what more do you want, you're the only one making it more complicated then it needs to be and as I said NO ONE HAS BEEN CARDED THE FIRST TIME THEY POSTED ANYTHING QUESTIONABLE.
No need to get upset, just stating my opinion that's all. You guys don't have to listen to it if you choose, it's your site you do as you please. I still don't think it's defined as clearly as the no nudity policy, but if it's good enough for you guys so be it. I'll just leave it at that.
