The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed wide receiver Steve Breaston to a one-year, $2.396 Million deal. Breaston will be without the sure-fired Kurt Warner tossing him the ball anymore, but he'll move from No. 3 to No. 2 on the depth chart with Anquan Boldin having left town for Baltimore. Breaston should see plenty of single coverage with Larry Fitzgerald demanding plenty of double teams. Source: RotoTimes.com
A good move to sign him, but you would think they would have wanted to lock him up longer than a year. Oh, that's right -- the Cardinals are cheap as sh*t.
They should've closed the deal on a 2 or 3 year contract at least. Not a smart move. Breaston could do really well (if there is a QB in Arizona this year) and then they could potentially lose him or upset him by franchising him.
