An ESPN report Monday said that the Raiders are the leading candidate to land Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb in a much-rumored trade that could be consummated soon. Two Raiders employees remain steadfast that the Raiders haven't even spoken with the Eagles about McNabb, who is in the final year of his contract. The ESPN report also made note of the Syracuse connection shared by McNabb and Raiders managing partner Al Davis, and McNabb being a distant cousin of Raiders offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, for what it's worth. First the Rams, now the Raiders. Who's next? This should be a very interesting draft but I would put money on the Donovan McNabb will be an Eagle in 2010 (if I gambled).
