I am testing out something with the Postbit template on the site (the mini-profile seen in every post). For now I have disabled the vCash and iShop display. I have noticed the site has been slower ever since I re-introduced the awards and want to see if displaying items in the postbit will lessen the server load.

Not sure if you're looking for feedback in this thread, but I'm gonna give some.

Seems to be running MUCH faster at the moment.

I'd love feedback. After tomorrow I am going to switch it and disable the awards in the postbit and allow people to view the iSop items and vCash.

It slowed down for about 5 minutes a little bit ago.

    It's fast again.

    Were you doing something?

might just be me but seems like someone said this exact thing........

anyways lol, I didnt notice a slow in the sites performance... might just have been me busy with work and switching threads inbetween my little tasks....

Anyways if it makes the site run faster and better all the more for it.

I hadn't experienced any slow downs (at least not noticeable) with both features in the postbit.

But, if you see the difference (and most people seem to) then it might be worth displaying somewhere else on the site.
