Following his surprise return to Ring of Honor, speculation erupted that Christopher Daniels might be done with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Confirmation on the matter has since emerged. According to PWInsider.com, Daniels was indeed released from his TNA deal this week, and he quickly contacted Ring of Honor about making a return. LordsOfPain.net
I would say it's losing it's soul rather than sinking. Although this move to Monday nights hasn't done anything to help the cause. You'd at least think they'd try and develop the ratings to a high level before trying to take on RAW (Even if Raw stinks).
Ive just read another report that is stating Daniels hasn't totally left TNA, but will be working events for both companies.
Funny how Christopher Daniels is wrestling AJ Styles for the TNA World Title one minute. The next minute, Hogan and Bischoff walk through the door and shove him to the side for talent who have already had their moment in the business. Since than, he would be lucky to have a two minute match. When I read that he returned to ROH on saturday, I said SWEET. I read that he's scheduled to work more ROH dates like May 7th in Manassas, Virginia and May 8th in New York City. As long as Hogan and Bischoff are in TNA, it's in his best interest to leave TNA.
I'll be at the ROH show on April 24th in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Now that The Fallen Angel is done with TNA, hopefully he picks up even more ROH bookings.
I haven't really watched Daniels in matches or heard him on the mic much. Does he not have the talent to go to the WWE?
Is he similar in skills to the "Straight Edge Superstar"? If so, then he might not be buried. CM Punk was an 'indy-guy' as well until he hit the bigtime. Maybe Daniels could be a part of a stable with Punk?
Daniels was mainly apart of the X-Division when he was in TNA. In my honest opinion, TNA has an overloaded roster for just having one show per week.
My thoughts as well. When you're not even using the Motor City Machine Guns but once every month, youve got way too many people getting TV time.
