Saints Sign Former Bears DE Alex Brown To A 2 Year Deal

The New Orleans Saints have signed former Chicago Bears defensive end Alex Brown to a two-year deal, his agent Joel Segal confirmed Wednesday to Eyewitness Sports. Brown is likely to start opposite Will Smith, replacing Charles Grant, whom the Saints cut earlier in the offseason. The Bears cut Brown after they signed Pro Bowl defensive end Julius Peppers.
