Giants Re-Sign OT Guy Whimper To A One-Year, $1.176M Deal

New York Giants restricted free agent offensive tackle Guy Whimper has signed his one-year tender, a league source said. Whimper has appeared in 30 games for the Giants over since being chosen in the fourth-round pick (129th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft out of East Carolina. The 6-5, 302-pound tackle missed the entire 2008 season with a foot injury, and was tendered at the "Original Round" level, which carries a $1.176 Million dollar base salary for the 2010 season.

Guy is a 6'5" 302 pound tackle in the NFL... yea, I'm sure it really bothers him.
