Ravens Release CB Samari Rolle

  1. Cornerback Samari Rolle has been released by the Baltimore Ravens, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times. This should hasten Rolle's expected retirement. Hampered by a serious neck injury, he did appear in an NFL game in 2009 and in 11 NFL seasons, he has 31 career interceptions.

I hope we pick him up, we need another solid corner

Picking him up isn't going to help your corner situation. The guy is done.

I think his playing days are over due to his severe neck injury. It's a shame because he could have had a profound impact on our secondary had he stayed healthy.

He had really good seasons with the Titans, one of SRW's fav. players

He hasn't been solid for quite a while. He's finished.

Bloody good corner in his time, I hope he doesn't try and prolong his career Simeon Rice style.
