Former Steelers great Terry Bradshaw said Wednesday that Ben Roethlisberger is one mistake away from being banished by the team and that the QB deserves a lengthy suspension. Bradshaw, in comments to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, said the NFL should consider a suspension of "maybe four" games for Roethlisberger. Bradshaw told the Tribune-Review that Steelers owner Dan Rooney and his family have nearly had it with Roethlisberger: "I know the Rooneys are steaming. (One more incident), he's gone. They'll unload him. This family is revered in that city and around this great country and the National Football League, and they won't put up with this kind of stuff to win a football game." He should be suspened, not for eight games like Toomer was suggestion, but 2/4 games. This kid has to learn to control himself and think long and hard before he puts himself in another stupid situaiton.
As much as I hate to say it, only cuz I'm from Pgh, he should be suspended for 4-6 games. This is getting out of hand! He needs to be taught a lesson! I was a fan of his the first 2 seasons. Thought he was a fantastic choice for the Steelers. He has since proven to be an arrogant butthole. He may do good things around the community and other states/communities but that doesn't change the fact he's an arrogant butthole. People only see the "TV/Football" Ben. They don't normally see his true colors...which haven't been very pretty. I have friends who work for the Pens organization and he's been found in bathrooms, not just once, during Pens events with women. Nothing bad has ever come of it but all it takes is the wrong woman...obviously! He's truly become an embarrassment. He needs to quit thinking with his rod and get his head in the right place.
I think he should get a suspension, Not a long one but just one to get the message across. So maybe like a 5-7 game suspension.
2 game suspension and like I've said a couple times before, another mishap and he's out the door...they'll have no choice. 2010 could quite possibly be his last in a Steelers Uniform if he doesn't shape up...
