NBA Suspends Kevin Garnett For Game 2

    Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has been suspended for Game 2 of Boston's first-round playoff series against the Heat for landing an elbow to the face of Miami's Quentin Richardson in a fourth-quarter fracas during Saturday's Game 1.The announcement was made Sunday by Stu Jackson, NBA executive vice president, basketball operations.Richardson was fined $25,000 for his role in the altercation.

    That gives the Heat a chance of getting back into the series after blowing game 1. :icon_smile:

    I'd hate to see games possibly decided (not saying the Heat are a shoe in to win game 2) by a suspension but I think David Stern did a good job by sending a message that crap like this WILL NOT be tolerated. A 1 game suspension for KG's actions in game 1 is fair.
