General Manager Bruce Allen said it loud and clear, the Redskins are open to trading the fourth overall pick in this Thursday's NFL Draft. That doesn't mean a trade is a sure thing, though. "History will tell you there is not much trading in the top four picks," Allen said during a Monday pre-draft briefing at Redskins Park. "We've looked at it a number of different ways. But in recent years, there's not a lot of movement up there. We are listening. Phones will be open. We have a listed phone number if someone wants to make a trade, but it's hard to project what is going to happen." Allen said he would be open to trading picks in next year's draft if the right deal came along. "We're open to hearing trades that involve picks in 2017 if somebody wants to talk about it," Allen said. Source: Redskins.com
If they could slide down 3 to 5 spots and gain an extra pick or two and still get a LT (Trent Williams) I'd be delighted but I don't expect it to happen. I;d rather stay at #4 if the deal isn;t right and get Okung. Best chance of getting an extra pick is to deal Jason Campbell come draft day.
Go to 7 for Cleveland's last third, we get Berry, you get a tackle. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Now that I think about it I surely wouldn't put it past him to want to go there just for the money etc., otherwise it could be a freefall. **********Automerged Doublepost********** oops wrong thread sorry
