With the 24th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant. Bryant is an extremely talented receiver that has legitimate downfield speed as well as the ability to adjust to off-target throws. He missed the final 10 games of 2009 for lying to an NCAA investigator and his ability to control and handle the off-field issues that could come up have to be in question. He is extremely competitive to the ball when he is the target but sometimes shows a lackadaisical attitude when on the back side of plays or when asked to block. Source: NFL.com
Kinda shocked to see this pick. With the emergence of Miles Austin. Didn't think WR was the biggest need for the Cowboys. But. Oh well xD
i was think OL or DB was more pressing i dont dislike it just a bit perplexed **********Automerged Doublepost********** who did you want mike
the cowboys will trade either crayton or hurd but i like the receiving corp. add the emergence of olgetree and dallas could be one of the best passing team in the league.
there has to be a Oline or S out there that would address a more pressing need not a freaking WR that missed last year
FREAK YES!!!! Its Bryant or one of the CB's the way it played out. I'll take top 10 value over top 30 value any day.
I hate drafting headcases, slackers and guys with issues. Dez Bryant is all 3. How the heck is he so out of shape right now too? He's not had to play or risk injury. His strength should be threw the roof with conditioning coming this summer. He looks like he's lacking both.
