A source tells the Philadelphia Daily News that Brian Westbrook passed his physical over the weekend and might very well end up joining the Rams. The sense is that it might be up to Westbrook, whether he wants to take an incentive-based deal to back up Steven Jackson as the Rams rebuild in earnest behind former Eagles assistant Steve Spagnuolo. The biggest negative might be that the Rams play and practice on artificial turf which the Eagles tried to keep Westbrook's away from as much as possible; he often sat out indoor practices to keep his left knee from swelling up.

Informative. I'm guessing Michael Vick would be a much better signing?

one of the worst places for him to play being they practice and play on turf. I think if he signs, he'll play sparingly and mostly as a receiver.

honestly, I think that Baltimore should give him a shot. Harbaugh knows him well and they could use him as a slot receiver and out of the backfield giving Rice a rest. He wouldn't need to do much unless Rice got hurt and if Rice got hurt, could be a surprise for them.
