In addition to releasing John Henderson today, the Jaguars also released linebacker Brian Iwuh, defensive tackle Montavious Stanley and linebacker Tank Daniels. Iwuh played in 58 games with three starts since joining the club as an undrafted rookie in 2006, playing primarily on special teams and ranked third in franchise history with 61 special teams tackles. Stanley spent time with the Jaguars in 2006 and 2009 and has played 33 games with six starts for Dallas, St. Louis, Atlanta, New Orleans and the Jaguars. Daniels was signed by the Jaguars as a free agent on December 21 after spending time with the New York Giants and Philadelphia but only saw action in the season-finale at Cleveland. Iwuh has been a great Special Teams player for us and I am quite surprised we've let him go. Hopefully we'll bring him back around training camp time if he stays a FA. And I'm quite surprised that we've released another DT in Stanley.
