Packers Talking To Free Agent CB Pacman Jones?

Discussion in 'Green Bay Packers' started by BigBlueBruiser, Apr 29, 2010.

  1. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Greg A. Bedard via twitter, the Green Bay Packers are "talking" to mercurial, possibly washed up, free agent cornerback Pacman Jones. The Packers are apparently just doing its "due diligence," and it's highly unlikely that Pacman will end up in Green Bay.

I'd say it's a little more than highly unlikely he'll end up there...

maybe he's cheap enough to take the risk or this is just bait for detroit to just give him a shot

Hes TOTALLY cheap enough...But TT doesn't want any headcases...but it could make sense..id sign him to a 1yr deal to see what hes got left..He'd at least be better than us having to put james jones in to try covering people again...

At first I thought this could never happen, been then I started thinking, "why would we take a CB that is said to be washed up, that parties too much, and would probably hate living in a small community like GB". You know, that sounds kinda like Woodson when he first got here. If Jones REALLY wants to change, all he has to do is kneel before Charles Woodson and say "teach me master"... and it MIGHT work out. Still a huge gamble though.

Plus he had to leave his posse at home

Seems a little desperate to even look in that direction... re: "due diligence,"

Is it even likely Pacman will end up in the league again? Come on!
