Seattle Times reporter Danny O'Neil reports, via Twitter, that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh underwent surgery last week to repair a sports hernia. Seahawk's training camp starts in less than three months and it's unknown if T.J. will be ready. With Deion Branch also out indefinitely, rookie Golden Tate and receivers Deon Butler, Mike and Reggie Williams should pick up reps. Source: Danny O'Neil, Twitter.com
Deon Butler is the best receiver we have anyway. He's just a little small to be anything other than a slot guy. Hopefully Tate is good enough to let Housh go back to his Cincy style of #2 possession play.
