Bengals, Free Agent CB Pacman Jones Working On A Multiyear Deal

Discussion in 'Cincinnati Bengals' started by BigBlueBruiser, May 5, 2010.

  1. Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones received a second look from the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, and his signing with the team is imminent after an impressive workout, a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora. Jones' representative, Ray Savage, had several conversations with the Bengals during the cornerback's visit, the source said, and the sides have the nucleus of a multiyear deal in place. Savage and the Bengals expect to put the contract to paper this week, La Canfora reported, and Jones should join the team's offseason program Monday.

Well they have Cedric Benson and Tank Johnson from my Bears. Yes I know Dallas had Tank for a year or so.

  8. Why does it even matter??? It's not like he'll even been a starter. At least I don't see where he'd be playing. Were set at the CB position right now and most likely the return game. The deal is expected to be for around the league minimum but have plenty of incentives built in that could push the amount higher.

i'm glad a bengals fan confirmed my thoughts on this whole situation. the bengals seem to be making moves on defense that would typically be made by a team who are grasping at straws to find defensive answers and it makes no sense because the bengals appeared to be putting together a good young nucleus on that side of the ball.

    very strange indeed.
