Jimmy Clausen To Battle Matt Moore For The Starting Job?

Discussion in 'Carolina Panthers' started by BigBlueBruiser, May 5, 2010.

  1. Matt Moore enters the season as the Panthers' starting quarterback, but according to one team official, rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen drew rave reviews following the team's minicamp last weekend. It's Moore's job to lose, but Jason La Canfora of NFL.com suggests a battle during training camp.

He'll unseat Moore during the preseason. Clausen will be the starter week 1, and I for one don't think he'll disappoint. Matt Ryan v.2

They got a freaking steal in the 2nd.

Matt Moore is far from a slouch. This will be a tight battle that will go all the way to kickoff.

Of course he's there to battle for the starting job. What else would he be there for??

He's adequate, but will probably amount to nothing more than average. Clausen has the chance to be great, and could probably play just as well as Moore this year even as a rookie. I'd say it's not much of a decision.

moore showed a ton of promise, im giving kiper alot of credit he was hyping him up alot during the draft and he might have a bright future. however him vs. clausen will be no contest at all
