Gary Kubiak Still Has Faith In Texans QB Dan Orlovsky

Not many people in Houston have much faith in backup QB Dan Orlovsky. Last year, coach Gary Kubiak had Orlovsky as Schaub's backup -- an important position considering how many games Schaub had missed the previous two seasons. But Orlovsky looked so bad in preseason that Rex Grossman was named the backup. Fortunately for the Texans, Schaub stayed healthy and started every game. Kubiak has been working with Orlovsky, and he's expected to keep the job but if not, they'll probably sign another veteran.

Dan Orlovski didn't play bad in the pre-season, Rex Grossman was a vet that threw a couple deep passes but couldn't throw any short passes on target. Rex should have never made the team. The majority of Houston fans wanted the Texans to draft a QB, but I belive in DanO and the potential of John David Booty.

Trust me I went to all the open training practices the Texans had last year and Rex Grossman was an embarassement to the Texans for signing him and the QB position, may God have mercy on his soul.
