Texans Sign Sixth Round Pick WR/KR Trindon Holliday

Discussion in 'Houston Texans' started by BigBlueBruiser, May 14, 2010.

  1. The Texans agreed to contract terms today with sixth-round pick Trindon Holliday, the wide receiver/kick returner from LSU. Holliday, who'll return kicks and be incorporated into the passing game, is the first draft choice in the NFL to sign. The 5-5, 160-pound Holliday brings world-class speed to the Texans. He ran an official time of 4.34 at the NFL combine in February and won the 100-meters at the 2009 NCAA outdoor track championships with a time of 10 seconds flat.

Tiny but blinding quick, he should stay at RB though.

There's no way he's playing anywhere other than returner.

I was hoping the Texans would draft Jacoby Ford but at least we got the 2nd fastest player in the draft.

He played runningback in the SEC which could pretty much be a pro conference. I've seen him get hit by big butt guys and bounce right back up. He's so freaking shifty and quick, get him a little space and he's outta there.
