On the first day of a mid-May minicamp, 49ers head coach Mike Singletary saw his receivers drop a lot of passes in practice. One of the main culprits: Ted Ginn, Jr., who the 49ers traded for from Miami this offseason. "Some guys have to get used to catching the ball again," Singletary said. "Some are naturals at it, some aren't." Ginn was known just as much for his suspect hands in Miami as he was for his incredible speed and special-teams play. Now the 49ers are seeing what Ginn is all about -- for better or for worse. Source: CBS Sports
i thought the 49ers said that he was only being brought in for special teams. why are they concerned about him dropping passes?
http://gridironfans.com/forums/late...rs-very-impressed-ted-ginn-wide-receiver.html I guess it doesn't take much to impress them.
well, i just lost a lot of respect for singletary as a coach if he said that ............... that's just freaking stupid ............
