Six Teams In ; Six Teams Out

The NFL Playoffs have been crazy in recent years. Last season (2009) the Jets, Bengals, Ravens, Patriots, Colts, Chargers, Eagles, Cowboys, Cardinals, Packers, Saints, Vikings all made the playoffs. Six of those teams were not there in 2008. The same thing occured from 2007 to 2008 only it was 7 teams.

2008 Playoff Teams were: Titans, Steelers, Dolphins, Chargers, Colts, Ravens, Giants, Panthers, Vikings, Cardinals, Falcons, Eagles.

2007 Playoff Teams were: Patriots, Colts, Chargers, Titans, Steelers, Jaguars, Cowboys, Packers, Seahawks, Buccaneers, Giants, Redskins.

Pick SIX new playoff teams for 2010 and the hard part, remove SIX.

 

naw, this isn't hard: the jets, bengals, ravens, eagles, cardinals, and vikings won't make the playoffs again .........................

 

Jets -> Titans - Yeah, I said it. :gun:
Bengals -> Steelers - Not really sold on the Bengals, although Ben's absence may give Baltimore the division.
Ravens
Patriots
Colts
Chargers
Eagles -> Panthers - this may be from hanging around too many Panthers fans.... the lack of Jake will likely help.
Cowboys
Cardinals -> 49ers - Cards minus Warner = me not liking their chances. San Fran seemed like the only logical choice.
Packers -> Lions - Yeah, I said it here too. The freaking Detroit Lions. Might have picked the wrong team to be replaced though, but I'll stick with this.
Saints
Vikings -> Redskins - yeah, I'm not buying this one either, but you made me pick 6. lol

 

Ravens won't make it?

 

Nope, can't do it. Came up with possibly 4 but couldn't leave any others out.

Out - Cardinals, Eagles, Packers, Bengals.
In - 49'ers, Falcons, Redskins, Titans.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if it didn't happen.

But the more shocking thing to me is that I think the Cap'n just gave his first ever PREDICTION of what might happen without saying IF this or that doesn't happen. :icon_eek:

yes, you guys are correct ........... i need to retract my post from this thread ............. i had been drinking and was too direct ................

let me edit it here ......................... if teams catch up with what the bengals were doing on defense last season, they are in trouble .............. if the ravens defense continues to show signs of slowing even more this season, they are in trouble ............. etc.

How can ANYONE say the packers don't make the playoffs this year? Even as far as to say replaced by the lions? WHAT ARE YOU HIGH? I know we play some tough teams, but its nothing i'm sure we cant handle. Watch what Rodgers does this year and now our defense is set with our new safety and all of our corners healthy and we have a full year of experience in the 3-4 now... Lol..seriously now..
