Kyle Orton is at the head of a crowded QB depth chart for the Denver Broncos but the team insisted on Sunday that it has not considered trading Orton at any point this offseason. The Broncos refuted a Denver Post story on Sunday that claimed that the team had allowed Orton's name to float in trade talks. An unnamed Broncos official told ESPN in a text message:"Kyle Orton Has NEVER been available or discussed. Ever! Period." Orton started 15 games for the Broncos last season. This offseason, Denver acquired former Browns first-round pick Brady Quinn via trade and then drafted Tim Tebow in the first round but head coach Josh McDaniels has maintained that Orton will be his starter.
