According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Eagles have announced Marlin Jackson has a ruptured achilles tendon. That is a season-ending injury, generally takes a year to get back on field. Jackson, who left the Indianapolis Colts to sign with the Eagles in March, suffered season-ending knee injuries the past two seasons and had surgery on both knees. He missed part of 2008 with a torn ACL in his right knee and tore the ACL in his left knee in 2009.
