The Indianapolis Colts have reached an agreement on a long-term contract with veteran safety Antoine Bethea. The length of the deal and financial terms were not immediately available. "It's nice to get it done,'' team president Bill Polian said today. "He could have played on the (restricted) tender or the reduced tender, but we said all along our goal was to get him under a long-term contract and we have.'' Bethea had been issued a one-year, $2.521 million tender as a restricted free agent. He didn't sign the tender, which kept him from participating in the Colts' organized team activities or three-day minicamp. Source: IndyStar
