It will all depend on preseason production, but the running back position should be quite a battle at the Browns upcoming training camp. It seems that Jerome Harrison, Montario Hardesty and Lawrence Vickers are locks, but beyond that it’s hard to figure. It would seem that between Peyton Hillis, James Davis and Chris Jennings, there would only be two roster spots at the most and maybe just one. Hillis would have the inside track because of his versatility. It would appear that Davis would have an edge over Jennings.

I'd like to hang onto Hillis and Davis both, for sure.

Hardesty wins the job in preseason.

Agreed. Harrison finished the season well, but he is far from an every down back. This talent pool is so deep , Im not sure we need one. Running returns to Cleveland, and will dictate the winner of the AFC North, at least thats what I think.

They'll spread the carries around pretty well to avoid anyone getting banged up. This core has loads of
talent but not the cleanest injury history, no one will see
the bulk of the carries week in and week out. But those two will play the biggest parts this year unless we see something great from someone that changes things.
