The Denver Broncos have been awarded veteran offensive lineman Kirk Barton off waivers from the Detroit Lions. The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder is a former Chicago Bears seventh-round draft pick in the 2008 NFL draft. He played collegiately at Ohio State.
