I think this was a great move by Johnson. He is staying the Atlanta where he knows the offense. I would love to see hi in NY or NJ but I think he made the best move for himself and thats all you gotta worry about
Of course it ws the best move by him. He wasnt getting more with any other team It was an increadible stupid move by Atlanta. Giving a 29 year old inefficient ball dominator, playoff failure who probobly isnt even the 2nd bet player on the team anymore a Max deal. Sign and trade for whatever assets you can get, build around Smith, Horford and Williams
Worst contract in the history of the franchise, and that includes Jon Koncak. Reminds me of the Allan Houston fiasco in New York. Now they probably won't be able to resign Horford next year, and bringing in anyone to better this team can't happen. This contract will be an albatross on this team. I don't blame Johnson for taking the contract, I blame the idiocy of the owners for offering it.
