The organizer of a youth football camp in North Carolina where Michael Vick was paid to attend this weekend lashed out at the Philadelphia Eagles QB after Vick failed to show. Cornelius Corprew, the director of Camp Elite Sports football camp, told the AP that Vick's camp informed him at 2 a.m. on Sunday that he would not attend. Vick's spokesperson, Judy Smith, said that Vick was prevented from leaving Pennsylvania by federal probation officials. "They called early, like 2 o'clock in the morning, telling us he's not coming," Corprew told the AP. "And then we couldn't speak to him. It was through one of his associates. We're not crazy. No state agency is communicating at 2 o'clock in the morning that he's not allowed to come. I think that was a selfish act." Vick also missed a charity golf tournament that bore his name on Sunday. Rema Miller, a promoter of the tournament, told the AP that Vick sent "a message that he hates that he could not be here." Source: USA Today
Anyone arranging a Youth FB Camp with Vick is a tad nuts anyway. "Hi, my name is Mike Vick. I enjoy long walks on the beach, rainbows, teaching kids how to play football and mutilating puppies that dont fight well. Welcome to my football camp."
