Bears Take RB Harvey Unga In The Supplemental Draft

    The Chicago Bears selected BYU running back Harvey Unga in the seventh round of the National Football League supplemental draft. Unga, the Cougars' all-time leading rusher, left school in April after violating the honor code. The Bears will forfeit a seventh-round pick in the 2011 draft.

    yes, and the only other selection was by the cowboys who took Price-Brent, a DT out of Illinois.

    not bad for a 7. nic.ecomplement for the backs they have. find it sort of interesting that the guys above the bears didn't throw a 7 in for him.

    I thought he might go for a 5th until his ankle injury. WIll be intresting to see if he can stay healthy

    he was maybe projected as a 5th if he was in the actual draft, generally they go two plus rounds later in the supp, he is a developmental FB who could turn out to be a decent FB in a couple years in a league where the FB is a dying position. There was no way he was going higher than a 6th.
