Agent Drew Rosenhaus says he has five teams showing interest in his client Terrell Owens, but acknowledged the Baltimore Ravens aren't among them. Rosenhaus claims one new team has "aggressively entered the picture" for T.O. "It's really picking up," Rosenhaus added, "and this isn't just agent rhetoric. I'm very encouraged as of late. I'm very optimistic that Terrell will have multiple options to choose from between now and the start of most training camps." Source: Jamison Hensley, Baltimore Sun
Toronto Argonauts, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Edmonton Eskimos, BC Lions and maybe he could operate a T-shirt cannon for the Atlanta Hawks?
Pretty sure yeah. I remember last year there was 5 teams interested and then BOOM, he signed with the Bills. So we can expect a Brown's signing sometime soon.
I think he said there were three teams interested earlier this off-season...no? THe Browns have said they weren't interested...
I'm not sure if the Bills said anything...but the "reports" are that the Browns have no interest...and I believe it's been said more than once. Take it for what it is...you and I know how those things go...
I've heard that TO and Drew wanted a contract of $5 million per year earlier this year. Since then, their demands have dropped to $3 million per year.
Once the injuries start filing in, Owens will be getting a lot of calls from a lot of teams. He's probably on the top of the list of a bunch of teams right now as long as the things fall "T.O.'s way..."
