New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod will enter camp as the probable starter at left tackle despite past struggles against elite pass rushers according to Nick Peruffo of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. If Bushrod struggles early on, don't be surprised if second round pick Charles Brown challenges for the starting position. Brown started every game at left tackle in his junior and senior seasons at USC. He switched from tight end to offensive tackle in 2005.

Hopefull Charles Brown will indeed push Bushrod for the starting position. I agree that Jermon struggled against the better pass rushers last season. The Saints frequently had to help him out with extra blockers.

With Jammal Brown gone, the Saints will need Charles Brown to step up.

i think brown needs a year to sit and bulk up with NFL strength and conditioning coaches, hes not a pro ready LT in build despite his tremendous pass blocking skills
