Kansas City Chiefs first round draft pick Eric Berry has tweeted that his deal is now complete. "Bout to head to st. Joe!!!," Berry wrote before adding, "Aka the deals done!". No financial terms have been disclosed but it's likely to be a 6 year deal worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $55 million. The Chiefs have now signed all of their draft picks. Berry was a three-year starter at the University of Tennessee where he was a three time all SEC selection and a two time first team All American.

No details yet, that's speculation by the source. I'm happy as hell today though! Got all the rookies in camp early on.

Yea... it's kind of cool you inked him for 6 years though. Basically the Chiefs are saying "we know you will be a superstar" ...no hate from me. Hope it works out for ya'll.

Another reason NFL needs rookie salary control. Same with vernon davis, he didnt play one down but since he was picked 6th overall he instantly was made the highest paid TE the nfl.

He got the same thing Trent Williams got at #4 but Berry got $3 million more in guaranteed money.

It's a problem with all theses guys, but it's not their fault, we would all do the same... it's the system that's broken.

yes, that's my point. the system is screwed up when rookies that have never played a snap are making more than proven veterans. the new CBA has to include a rookie salary cap and i think it's going to get done because these proven veterans MUST be getting pissed watching these toddlers make more than they do.

Exactly, my point was duh duh duh duh duh... Like everyone knows it f'd and it's so over the top it's pointless to discuss. Let's just hope the fix it soon.

they were in same boat when they were rookies, vets watching them make more money they past players been happening for years so the vets need to put away there baby bottles and deal with it like all the players ahead of them. If they could get the same rookies contracts they would jump at it.
