No. 2 overall pick defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was immediately inserted into the Detroit Lions' first-team defense Wednesday, according to John Niyo of the Detroit News. Suh didn't miss much time with his miniature holdout, and his immense talent made this move pretty easy to predict. Still, he'll be pushed some by Sammie Lee Hill and should only get better on the field. Source: Rototimes
yep, they have to start him immediately with his talent. having said that, DT is the type of position that usually takes a couple of years for a guy to master at this level. I'm not expecting him to be the best DT in the game this year like many are. Give him a couple of years to learn the nfl and we'll see.
Best player in the draft in my opinion. As a Vikings fan I was praying he wouldn't go to the Lions. Will be the most dominant 4-3 DT within three-five years.
he was my 2nd best player next to berry, but hes raw power and pretty technically sound...while i dont think he'll be unbeatable this year i think he will be more than effective enough for the lions and will get so much better rather quickly
Maybe. Berry is going to be very good also. The Lions can build a line around Suh though. If they can find a young pass rushing DE in the draft in the next year or two, they are going to have a defensive line to be scared of.
KVB should be an ok stop gap for them and they are really high on avril...he was one of their 4 untouchable players with calvin, stafford and demas. suh and SLH entering his second year makes avril a better player
