Bills QB Trent Edwards had the best practice of camp thus far on Monday. Edwards threw the ball really well and connected on touchdowns to wideouts Steve Johnson and Lee Evans in red-zone work and had another sure TD dropped by James Hardy. "He's a lot more vocal this year ... I think it just goes to show how much more confident he is," said Evans. Still, coach Chan Gailey was reserved in his praise of Edwards. "Some good, some bad," Gailey said. "We're making progress. It's a work in progress. But there were some good things." Edwards is definitely the leader to break camp as the starting quarterback for the Bills but the job isn't his outright. That speaks volumes about his season last year when he played in eight games, starting seven, with six touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Capt Checkdown has confidence? I'll believe it when I see it on Sundays.
