It turned out no news was good news for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga. As months continued to pass following Maualuga's DUI arrest in January, Cincinnati finally gained clarity Tuesday as the NFL decided not to suspend the second-year linebacker, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Maualuga played in 15 games as a rookie last season. He spent most of this offseason rehabbing an ankle injury but participated in his first preseason game last week against the Denver Broncos. But Schefter also is reporting Maualuga will be fined two games worth of salary. Source: ESPN
