Lardarius Webb’s recovery from season-ending knee surgery has progressed so well that the Ravens cornerback could be activated off the physically-unable-to-perform list as early as Thursday morning, the last day of the team’s training camp. Webb, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament in December, was seen taking part of the Ravens’ conditioning test Wednesday afternoon during special teams practice. If he passes that, he could suit up for his first practice this year, though the second-year player wouldn’t play in Saturday’s preseason game at Washington. Webb's return would be a major boost to the Ravens’ secondary, which lost cornerback Domonique Foxworth for the season before the first full-team practice of camp and has been without safety Ed Reed (who is on PUP after offseason hip surgery). Some team officials believe Webb could develop into the best cornerback on the team. Source: Jamison Hensley, Baltimore Sun
Fabian Washington is back at practice and Webb is progressing. News couldn't be better for Ravens fans. Without these two they would struggle, bad.
