Vinny DiTrani of NorthJersey.com reports via twitter that Giants linebacker Keith Bulluck is now an outside linebacker again. He was told Monday morning to forget about playing the middle. DiTrani writes that Bulluck sounds a little confused as to what his role will be. When would he like to know, today, tomorrow? "Two weeks ago," he said. The move likely cements Jonathan Goff as the Giants starting middle linebacker. Bulluck is likely ticketed for the strong side, but he may not be ready to push Clint Sintim for the starting job just yet.

  2. Bummer....was hoping that Bulluck would help stabilize the linebacking core.

Lets hope Goff can do the job.

He needs to be able to play MLB and OLB so he needs time in the schemes, and Fewell will be running a variety of schemes.

lol, huh? Wat? Why doesn't the source line up with the OP? Where did this come from?

Anyway, this is about Goff playing better in the middle than Sintim playing on the outside, so moving Bulluck to OLB will make for a stronger unit overall. THis is not about Bulluck sitting behind Sintim... what a silly freaking statement.

  6. That last sentence came from rotoworld. I sent in the news scoop and I needed one more sentence to meet the 5 sentence requirement. I was also short on time that morning.

But it does appear that Bulluck will likely play on the strong side and battle Sintim for the starting gig....
