Add Ron Jaworski to the long list of people around the NFL who think Ryan and the Jets have gotten a little too full of themselves. The former NFL quarterback, now an analyst on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,†labeled the Jets the most overrated team in the AFC yesterday while noting the hostility Ryan has fostered with his repeated Super Bowl projections. Speaking on a preseason media conference call with Jon Gruden and the rest of the “Monday Night Football†crew, Jaworski said the feeling from other teams in the league about the Gang Green is clear. “They’re the team that’s pretty much speaking all the bravado,†Jaworski said. “You hear this, you see this, and you really do want to put them in their place — whatever that place may be.†Source: NY Post
Their defense is still incredible. The run game should be very good. And the passing game is mediocre. I agree that they are somewhat overrated, but they have a shot to win every game just because of the defense. They are legit.
of course they're overrated. how could they be UNDERrated when every other person is picking them to win the AFC ? This team has immense pressure on them and combining Ryan's coaching style with this is going to create an enormous implosion that will decimate most of the northeast like a nuclear bomb by the end of the season ................ and the nfl world will be better because of it ..................
They came out last season beat the tar out of everyones up in coming pick (TExans)and changed history for both squads. Sanchez ain't Joe Montana.. and that fatbastard ain't Lombardi. I see them going 5-11 what the hell?!?! haha or that can be 6-10
