Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports via twitter that the Seattle Seahawks have released wide receiver TJ Houshmanzadeh. Houshmandzadeh signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the Seahawks in 2009. In his one season with the Seahawks, Houshmandzadeh caught 79 passes for 911 yards and 3 touchdowns. Houshmandzadeh did not appear to be a fit in Seattle's new offense, and at his age (turns 33 later this month), he was not envisioned as being a part of the team's future. Since the Seahawks' current decision-makers have nothing invested in him, they've opted to release him, despite his $7 million guaranteed base salary for 2010. Source: Chris Mortensen: Twitter.com
bring him in, cut randle el and battle... Let Housh merk the Bengals 2 times a year :icon_cool: **********Automerged Doublepost**********
He's awful, the only thing he had left - his hands - sucked last year. He runs terrible routes and is a crybaby snitch. I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team.
