Texans The Favorties To Sign Free Agent QB Matt Leinart?

  1. Chris Mortensen of ESPN writes via twitter that he believes the Houston Texans are now the favorites to sign free agent quarterback Matt Leinart. Peter King of Sports Illustrated tweeted the possibility on Saturday and the Seahawks appear to be in no rush to add coach Pete Carroll's former Heisman-winning quarterback. According to Pro Football Talk, the Seahawks may have a split opinion regarding Leinart. The Bengals are also not expected to pursue Leinart, as they've promoted Jordan Palmer to second on the depth chart. The catch is that Texans coach Gary Kubiak typically prefers quarterback's that can move and Leinart is a below-average athlete.

I still think Jacksonville and Buffalo are Leinart's best bets.

  3. Buffalo already denied interest....Leinart doesn't have the arm to throw in those cold winter months in Orchard Park.

Leinart's best bet was staying in AZ but he hecked that up being a cry-baby bastard.
