Patriots Offer QB Tom Brady A Three-Year, $58M Extension

Discussion in 'New England Patriots' started by BigBlueBruiser, Sep 7, 2010.

  1. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been offered a three-year extension believed to be worth $58 million that works out to $19.3 million annually, according to sources close to the negotiation. This would be in addition to the $6 million dollars he's on the books for this year. The Brady camp has yet to formally agree, but a deal could be in place within the next 24 hours, the Herald has learned. The franchise quarterback, who has won three Super Bowls, has never entered a season in the final year of a deal, potentially playing out the contract and headed to free agency. He has wanted to get a deal done before the season started.

He's never held out before, so this seems well within his "we are all over paid" philosophy. Done deal.

I'm now hearing that there hasn't been a offer made, so curious if this story is right. Guess we'll see.

Whinning about what? Hasn't shown one bit of inteest in a new contract. More of a fan/media concern.

He should get a 200 million contract and they should use the remaining pennies for jobbers. That will work, right?
