The Giants are getting ex-Eagles OG Shawn Andrews caught up to speed with the idea that he could start for the team at some point this season. The team is OK with OLG Rich Seubert for now, but Andrews is knocking on the door. Our sources believe it's more prudent for the team to potentially replace Seubert with Andrews than to move OLT David Diehl inside to guard and elevate William Beatty to the starting lineup — changing two positions to fix one, in essence.

He might be good for a season or two before he goes loco again.

DId he NOT want to be a teammate with his brother? What exactly was his trip in Philly? Was that ever clearly defined? Giants better be 100% on this guy if they are thinking about starting him.

It's pretty simple...if he plays well he gets to start, if he doesn't he doesn't and we still have a good O-Line with Seubert.

I just wonder if he's ok upstairs between the ears. I wouldn't bother with someone like him unless I am 100% sold on him being out of his funk.

It's not like we put all our eggs in 1 basket. If he gets nutty then we go back to what we had anyway. At worst he is one of the best backup lineman in the league.
