NFL sources told FOX 26 Sports players from both the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts will display an act of solidarity before the two teams play each other Sunday at Reliant Stadium. The act of solidarity will be similiar to the one the players from the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings showed before the Saints won Thursday night in New Orleans. In that game all of the players moved a few yards onto the field after the national anthem and held up their index fingers to show they had solidarity in their efforts to reach a new collective bargaining agreement with the owners. League sources told FOX 26 Sports Saturday the Texans and Colts will do the same thing. NFL owners may lock out the players beginning in March if the two sides are not able to reach a new collective bargaining agreement.. Source: MyFoxHouston
I really hope all this Solidarity stuff helps us not have a lock out in 2011. I don't think I can make it a whole year without football.
I'm trying to get into NCAA more just in case... well, besides going to Coogs games a few times a year.
